Mr. Choki Wangchuk, 35, is the founder of Bhutan Precious Destination. He has worked as a tour leader for Aman Kora Bhutan (under Aman Resorts), an internationally acclaimed luxury tour and hospitality company, for 11 years. He started Bhutan Precious Destination a few years ago to give – as he says – a “personalized touch” to travel services. Well-versed in Bhutanese history, culture and Buddhist philosophy, he speaks five local dialects in addition to English, Chinese (Mandarin) and Hindi. His company has a ground crew of ten tour guides and a fleet of buses and SUVs for transport within the Kingdom.
